Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson, an American singer-songwriter director and producer is also a writer. Her most famous role is being the character Tara Maclay from the TV Series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson is also the director of her own films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and was the lead actress in them. She also appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson, born to a psychiatrist and an artist named Diane Benson, was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8 in 1977. Benson has a younger sister Danielle Benson, who has a career as an artist. Benson was born to a father who is Jewish while her mother is Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson's career continues to grow following the ending of Buffy. She was in films such as The Killing Jar, and shows such as Morganville The Series. Behind the camera she used her writing abilities to work on her Ghosts of Albion series and produced projects such as The Killing Jar in 2010 and Drones. Buffy says that she has discovered and counted over 1800 Slayers with 500 who collaborate with the Scooby Gang. Potentials now awaken as Slayers at the time they attain a certain level of maturation for instance Slayer Soledad. Slayer Soledad was born on her 16th birthday. Ruth Connell is set to be the character Rowena in the season 10 of Supernatural. Apparently, Rowena is a witch from the past.
