Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian playback singer, actress and musician. Her work is primarily focused on Tamil or Malayalam-language films. She first made an appearance as an actor in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam and also made her Malayalam debut with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah, born to an Anglo-Indian family from Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea Jeremiah's father works as a lawyer at the Madras High Court. Her older sister is living and working in Leuven Belgium, as a Research Assistant. Jeremiah hails born in Chennai. She attended National Public School, and later graduated from Women's Christian College. The woman has claimed that she was a fan of science and wanted to become a psychiatrist until she completed the 12th grade of her board exams.Andrea learned classical piano at the age of eight. She joined the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars at age 10. It was this group that shaped her singing and music composition career. Additionally, she worked as an actress in her college. She served as President of the The Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began her acting career through Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. She acted in new leo coffee advertisement together with actor Shiva in 2006. She also acted as a part of a character in the Podhigai series. The actress has performed across India. She had a small role in the Kanda Mudhal final (2005). She sang a song for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu. The director asked her to join the female lead characters for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea performed the role of Kalyani the housewife whose husband is involved in an extramarital affair. Andrea was approached by Simran Shobana and Tabu. It was released early in 2010. In 2011, she agreed to perform a tiny support role in Venkatprabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha and it was released in August 2011, Annayum Rasoolum, a romantic film directed by Rajeeev Ravi, released in 2013, marked her Malayalam debut.
