Her debut single, Here, in 2015, when she was just 19. The song was an instant hit and received praise from the public and from critics. The song reached the top 19 of both the Billboard Hot 100 in Canada as well as the Canadian Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone ranked the song as one of 2015's Best Songs. The same year, she dropped her debut album Know It All with the third song Scars to Your Beautiful being the first of five tracks which reached the top of Billboard charts, including The Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 as well as the Billboard Hot 100. It was a special track due to her Rap-Up interview she did with the listeners could identify with her journey of finding love for themselves, and doubting her. Cara is known for including messages on emotional health, kindness, and self-love in her songs. Cara has struggled with insomnia and anxiety, which have influenced her journey. Alessia Cara grew up in Toronto, Canada. She was born July 11, 1996 to parents with Italian origins. Her first guitar was purchased from her parents at the time she was 10, which ignited her musical passion. In the age of 13she began covering songs she liked on YouTube to prove to the public that she had talent and was able to make a profession of a musician. Indeed the cover tracks Sweater Weather was the one that made her the focus of EP Entertainment. They allowed her to create and create her own tracks.
