The singer released her debut single Here in 2015, when she was just aged 19. The track was highly praised by critics as well as the public. It reached 19th place on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone ranked the song among the 2015's most memorable Songs. Her debut Know It All album in the year that followed. The third single, Scars to Your Beautiful was one of five songs that reached the top of the charts on Billboard as well as the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 in addition to Billboard Hot 100. The track is special because, based on her interview with Rap-Up that she conducted, many of her listeners were able to connect to her experiences of learning to love themselves and rethinking their beliefs about her. Cara's music is known to include messages of kindness, self-love and mental health. Every song Cara sings comes directly from her battle with mental illness, insomnia and other issues. According to a Reuters interview, the album has been described as a half tumultuous half perfected. Therapy made her stronger and she encourages others to do the same. Alessia Cara, a Canadian musician was born in Canada on July 11, 1996 to Italian descent parents. Her parents gave her guitar at the age of 10, and it brought her to music. 2013 was the year she recorded the songs she loved for YouTube which is a well-known social media site. It was done to show that she had both the capability and the self-confidence to be an artist. Sweater Weather is one of the covers that resulted in her being noticed at the time by EP Entertainment. This record label allowed her create her own songs.
