The single was published in the year 2015, just as she was turning 19. The track received praise by music critics as well as listeners. In the Canadian Hot 100, and Billboard Hot 100, ranked it at 19. Even Rolling Stone called the song one of their Top Songs in the year 2015. The same year when she debuted Know It All. Scars to Your Beautiful One of her five original tracks that was featured on the Billboard Charts including Billboard Hot 100 for Canada and Billboard 200 for Canadian Albums Charts. The track in question was unique because it was based on an interview with rapper Rap-Up, many of the listeners were inspired by her story through self-doubt and discovering how to love herself. Cara is famous for including songs about mental health, compassion and self-love in her songs. Her inspiration for her music comes from Cara's personal struggle to conquer mental health issues and insomnia. In a Reuters interview she describes her album as half-tumultuous and half perfected. Therapy made her stronger and she encourages others to do the same. Alessia Cara was born to Italian parents on the 11th of July 1996. In 2010, her parents purchased her a brand new guitar which she utilized to develop her passion for the music. After three years, at 13, she began singing her most loved songs on YouTube. It was a great method to demonstrate to the world the fact that she had ability and determination. In fact she covered one of her tracks Sweater Weather became the track that got her noticed by EP Entertainment. They allowed her to create and record her own songs.
