In the year 2015, at age 19, she published her first debut single Here. The track received praise from listeners and music critics. It reached 19th place in both Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone named the track one of the top Songs of the year. This same year, she released Know It All. Scars to Your Beautiful is one of the five tracks that were the first to reach Billboard's chart. Cara's music often contains positive messages regarding mental health, and how important it is to love yourself. The music of Cara is directly from her struggle with mental illness, insomnia and other health issues. Reuters said that she described the album "half turbulent, and half finished". People have told her that she discovered her development during therapy. Alessia Cara was born to Italian parents on July 11th, 1996. Her parents gifted her with their first guitar at the age of 10. This was her beginning with music. Three years later at 13 years old, she began performing her favourite songs via YouTube one of the biggest media platforms in order to demonstrate to the world that she was talented and the determination to be a professional singer. Actually, one of her cover tracks Sweater Weather is the track that made her the focus of EP Entertainment. They allowed her to compose and record her own music.
