At 19 years old, she released her debut single Here. It was a hugely acclaimed track by both critics and fans. In the Canadian Hot 100, and Billboard Hot 100, ranked it at 19. Even Rolling Stone ranked the track as one of the year's Top Songs. Her debut Know It All album in the same year. The third single, Scars to Your Beautiful was the first of five tracks that made it to the top spots on Billboard including Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100. In her Rap-Up interview fans discussed Cara's struggle to find self-love as well as the doubts she faced. Cara is known for incorporating the themes of mental health and love and self-love into her songs. All of it is a result of her personal journey as she has struggled with mental health issues as well as insomnia.
