Mischa Barton was born on 24 January 1986 in the city of Hammersmith, England. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. In addition, she was as a character in The Sixth Sense a thriller. The reception she received to Romania was that of a hero. Comaneci's Olympic medal total grew to nine medals following four years of participation in the Olympics in 1980. In 1996 Comaneci was elected into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame and, in 1999, she was honored by ABC News and Ladies Home Journal as one of the 100 Most Important Women in the 20th Century. Comaneci as well as Olympic champion Bart Conner had a son Dylan Paul in April 1996. Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy is one of the many companies in the field of gymnastics that they own together. Comaneci also has been engaged in a range of charities, serving as one of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association board of directors and Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. In the years since, she remains a patron of many other charitable organizations in her native Romania. These include the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital.
